PASS the Test of Fire Safety
Protect Lives with This Simple Method

Everyone should become proficient in fire safety in order to safeguard people and property in an emergency. The PASS method is one of the most straightforward yet successful approaches of managing minor fires. Let's examine what it is and its significance.

How does the PASS Method work?

The PASS method offers detailed instructions for effectively using a fire extinguisher. This is how it works.
P-Pull: To break the seal and ready the fire extinguisher for use, pull the pin.
A-Aim: Point the nozzle towards the fuel source at the fire's base.
S-Squeeze: Press the handle to discharge the extinguishing chemical.
S-Sweep: Move the nozzle side to side.
The trainer demonstrates the correct way to hold and aim a fire extinguisher, ensuring participants understand the importance of aiming at the base of the fire

Follow these four methods to quickly and efficiently extinguish tiny fires and prevent them from spreading.

What Makes the PASS Method Crucial?

-
Life-saving Skills: Proper use of a fire extinguisher might be the difference between a dangerous scenario escalating and a fire being contained.
-
Empowered Action: When every second counts during an emergency, having knowledge and confidence allows you to respond swiftly and effectively.
-
Workplace Safety: By training your employees how to protect themselves and others from fire threats, you may create a safer workplace.
