Social Media Intern

This internship offers a hybrid working experience, combining on-site support for school co-curricular activities (CCAs) with remote work-from-home responsibilities focused on digital content and media. The intern will be involved in a range of tasks including social media management, content creation, marketing, graphic design, basic IT support, and administrative coordination. They will also assist in coordinating and supporting CCA sessions at designated international schools. This role provides hands-on exposure to real projects, practical training, and the opportunity to develop both creative and professional skills in a flexible, blended work environment.

What You'll Be Doing
1. On-site in Klang Valley

  • Assisting in coordinating and preparation of pre-training and CCA sessions.

  • Provide support as Assistant Coach for school CCAs at designated international schools.

  • Managing attendance, preparing training materials and equipment, and ensuring a smooth setup and transition between activities.

  • Supervise students during sessions and ensure safety and discipline are maintained throughout the program.

2. Work from home - Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing and scheduling content across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok

  • Monitor and track social media performance (likes, shares, reach, comments etc.) and provide simple reports with insights.

  • Research current digital trends and hashtags relevant to our industry and Malaysian market.

  • Help explore automation tools to improve our content workflow.

  • Support with basic tech tasks — e.g. editing on Canva, updating website or managing our content database.

  • Assist in graphic design, video creation, and content creation as part of digital marketing efforts.

  • Support the planning, organization, and execution of both online and physical events.

  • Conduct research and competitor analysis relevant to the training and education industries.

  • Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects within given timelines.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.

  • Attend meetings and training sessions to take minutes, videos and photos and follow-up actions.

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant Diploma or Degree program in one of the following fields:

  • Digital Media Technology

  • Digital Marketing

  • Graphic Design / Creative Multimedia

  • Information Technology

  • Mass Communication​

Job  Type

  • Hybrid Position with combination of Work from Home (WFH) and travel to designated international schools at required schedules.

  • Must be willing to work for at least 3 months (12 weeks) of internship period.

  • Added advantage if applicant has prior tutoring experience with young learners is highly encouraged to apply.
